Expected Results
The expected results of the project are summarized below:
- Competitiveness improvement, of both local and national economy by strengthening research, technological development and innovation by producing a product targeted at the global market.
- Enhancement of sustainable development, through the manufacture of an integrated system for estimating the potential of biochemically produced methane from biodegradable organic raw materials (biomass).
- Expansion of the company's business activity into new markets and promotion of the universities’ research results.
- Linking universities with the market and industry.
- Exploiting the knowledge and skills pool of young researchers and combating unemployment. Contributing, in the long run, to the broader economic and social development of the country by creating new jobs for both research institutions and the participating company.
- Strengthening the policy that promotes the employment of women at all levels of the hierarchy, as well as in the areas related to research, development, and innovation.
- Promotion of equal opportunities at work, as the selection of the personnel participating in the research teams will be carried out considering as a sole criterion their contribution to the further exploration and development of the specific subject of the proposal. The consortium seeks to develop the spirit of equality and non-discrimination of people due to race, nationality, religion, belief, age, disability or sexual orientation.
